Once the permits are in hand, we will begin construction on your pool. Fort Worth Pool uses only the highest quality materials and our craftsmen are true artists when it comes to creating beautiful outdoor living spaces. We take pride in our work and it shows in the finished product.

The final step is to do a final clean up and make sure that everything is perfect for you and your family to enjoy. Fort Worth Pool wants you to be 100% satisfied with your new pool.

2. Excavation

The first step in constructing a Fort Worth pool is to excavate the area where the pool will be built. This involves digging out a large hole in your yard, which can be a daunting task. However, it is essential to ensure that the hole is the correct size and shape before proceeding with construction. The excavation process can also be used to create features such as caves and grottos, which can add interest and intrigue to your pool design. With careful planning and execution, the excavation process can be an exciting first step in creating your perfect Fort Worth pool.

3. Plumbing

Fort Worth Pool will work with you to incorporate the necessary plumbing for your pool during construction. This may include placing pipes in the yard and connecting them to the pool equipment. We will also make sure that the pump and filter are properly plumbed and installed. In addition, we can install automatic cleaners and other features that require plumbing. Our goal is to ensure that your pool is properly constructed and ready for use when we finish the project.

4. Steel Reinforcement

After the pool is dug, steel reinforcement is placed in the hole. The City building inspector will come out to assess the situation and approve the construction. Only then will the concrete be poured. The process Fort Worth Pools uses meets or exceeds city requirements. You can feel confident that your in-ground pool installation is being done correctly when you choose Fort Worth Pools.

5. Gunite

Gunite is a type of construction material that is made from cement and sand. It is used to create Fort Worth pool structures, as well as to repair existing ones. The word "gunite" comes from the process by which it is made: dry ingredients are placed in a machine called a shotcrete gun and mixed with water, then sprayed onto the surface of the pool. Gunite is an extremely strong material, and Fort Worth pools made with it will last for many years. Because of its durability, gunite is often used to patch up cracks and holes in concrete pools. It can also be used to build new pool walls, steps, and other features.

6. Gunite Shell

The next day, you'll need to wet down the gunite shell. This will help the plaster to adhere properly and cure correctly.

7. Tile and Coping

After the gunite has cured, it's time to install the tile. For a bond beam pool, this will be done at the waterline. First, a layer of thinset is spread over the area where the tile will be placed. Then, the tile is applied and set in place with more thinset. The coping is then installed on top of the tile. Coping is made of concrete or stone and helps to give the pool a finished look. It also provides a place for swimmers to grip when they are getting in and out of the pool. installing tile and coping can be a time-consuming process, but it's important to take your time and make sure that everything is done correctly.

8. Electrical

The electrical system is one of the most important aspects of any pool construction project. At Fort Worth Pool, we take great care to ensure that all electrical work is done up to code and meets all local, state, and national regulations. We also take pride in our attention to detail and our commitment to quality workmanship. Our team of experienced electricians will work diligently to install the electrical system in your pool in a timely and efficient manner.

9. Deck Formation

The Deck Formation is an important part of the pool construction process. It provides a strong foundation for the pool deck and helps to prevent erosion. The Deck Formation is made up of a layer of concrete, a layer of sand, and a layer of gravel. The concrete is poured first, followed by the sand. The gravel is then placed on top of the sand. The gravel helps to keep the sand in place and prevents it from being blown away by wind or washed away by rain.

10. Deck Completion

The deck is one of the final phases in the pool construction process. It involves pouring concrete around the perimeter of the pool and finishing it to create a smooth, even surface. The deck must be level and free of any sharp edges or irregularities.

11. Plaster

After the pool construction is complete, it's time for the internal finish. This is where we plaster the internal surface of your pool. We use a high-quality plaster that is mixed with water and then applied to the walls and floor of the pool. The plaster is then allowed to cure for a period of time before it is ready for use. This process ensures that your pool will have a smooth and durable finish that will last for many years to come.

11. Hand Off

A Fort Worth pool service technician will chemically treat the pool, power up the equipment, and give you instructions on the care of your brand new pool. This will ensure that your pool is safe and clean for you and your family to enjoy.

The technician will also check the pH levels and adjust the chemicals accordingly. They will also test the chlorine levels and make sure that they are at the correct level. After the chemicals have been added, the technician will then start up the equipment. This includes the pump, filter, and skimmer. The technician will also give you instructions on how to care for your new pool. They will explain how to vacuum, brush, and skim the pool. They will also explain how often to test the water quality and how to add chemicals to maintain a safe and clean pool.

12. Enjoy your brand new pool!
